These terms govern your use of The 20 Minute Hire website and Clarity Sessions. By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language — no fine print games. If something is unclear, email max@[domain].com and we'll clarify.
What You're Purchasing
A Clarity Session is a structured hiring process that produces three documents in approximately 20 minutes:
- A self-filtering job post for one specific role
- A scored interview framework with weighted criteria
- A 90-day onboarding plan aligned to the role criteria
You're buying access to run this process. You're not buying:
- A guarantee that any specific person will be a successful hire
- HR consulting or legal advice
- A recruiting service
- Ongoing software access (this is a per-session purchase)
Pricing and Payment
Current pricing:
- Entry session: $297
- Single session: $497
- Two-session bundle: $997
All prices in US dollars. Payment is processed at checkout via Stripe. Sessions don't expire — you can use them whenever you need them. Bundle sessions can be used at any time on any role.
The Clarity Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee with one condition: you must have used the system on at least one real open role.
If you run the system on a real role and leave without more clarity about that hire than you walked in with, email max@[domain].com within 30 days of your purchase. We'll refund the full amount — including any bonuses. One email. No form. No interrogation.
What the guarantee covers: the process experience. Specifically, whether running the session gave you more clarity and confidence than you had before.
What the guarantee doesn't cover:
- Whether the person you hire performs in the role (we don't control that)
- Requests submitted after the 30-day window
- Requests from buyers who never used the system
Acceptable Use
You can use The 20 Minute Hire for your own business hiring needs. You can't:
- Resell access or share your login with others
- Use the output documents to create competing products
- Reverse-engineer the system or attempt to extract our methodology
- Use the service for illegal hiring practices or discrimination
- Submit false information to obtain a refund
If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access without refund.
Intellectual Property
Our content
The system, methodology, templates, and all content on this site are owned by us. You're licensed to use the outputs you generate for your own business — but not to redistribute the system itself.
Your content
The job posts, scorecards, and onboarding plans generated during your session belong to you. You can use them however you want for your business. We don't claim ownership of your role criteria or hiring decisions.
Hiring Decisions Are Yours
Important: The 20 Minute Hire is a structured framework that helps you make better hiring decisions. It doesn't make the decision for you. You're responsible for:
- Compliance with all employment laws in your jurisdiction
- Non-discriminatory hiring practices
- Verifying candidate information
- Background checks where appropriate
- The final hiring decision and its consequences
We are not your HR department, not your lawyer, and not your recruiter. We provide a process. You provide the judgment and the decision.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about:
- Specific hiring outcomes
- Time to fill a role
- Quality of any individual candidate
- Whether a hire will stay or perform
Past results from other clients are not predictions of your results. Hiring depends on many factors outside the system's control — market conditions, role specifics, candidate pool, your interview execution, and the candidate's choice to accept or decline.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your most recent Clarity Session. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost opportunities, or business interruption.
This isn't us trying to dodge responsibility. It's standard for digital products at this price point. If you have a serious concern, email max@[domain].com — we'd rather solve a problem than hide behind terms.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can terminate access if you violate these terms. If we terminate for cause, we don't refund. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll honor existing purchases for at least 90 days and notify you before any changes.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in [County], Texas — unless you're a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protection laws, in which case those laws apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For significant changes, we'll notify anyone with an active account or recent purchase before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
